Product Reviews
First snow to try these tires, 2 inches, flat straight away, in 2 wheel drive would not move across snow had to engage 4 wheel, not a good choice for any snow conditions.
These tires went on my Dakota. The dry traction was pretty good. Snow traction was zero, but these aren’t snow tires, nor do they have any of the fancy new cold-weather chino stores, so that isn’t a surprise. They resist hydroplaning, but wet traction is nonexistent and cornering in all conditions is terrible. These were installed, rotated every 6,000, and properly aligned at least yearly. They’re finally worn out with 40,000 (down to 2/32” after only 40,000!), and I couldn’t wait to get them off! The Goodyear Wrangler SA and Goodyear Eagles I previously used We’re 1000% better in all conditions.
What a piece of garbage from Yokohama. This tire came with my New Toyota 4 Runner that only has 25,000 miles and it barely have some thread left on it. Mind you no off road driving. I have this vehicle only for 26 months. Yesterday I took it to the dealership for a trade in and they even said I need four new tires.
Quite ride. Great tire. Highly recommend the Geolander GO56!
Got these tires, and within 24 hours was able to test in both dry and wet conditions. Road noise was dramatically reduced when I switched to these tires. Ride comfort was increased, even some of my rattle disappeared. Acceleration, cornering and breaking were controllable and done without feeling "spongy."
I love my 2 pairs of Geolander that I have on my trucks now. I need a pair for the car.
In the two months since my purchase, I have made a couple of 1000+ mile trips, some in almost flooding rain. The tires have handled great in all conditions. I would buy again.
